Young ladies behind the counter were nice and professional. Dr. Khan was and is awesome. You felt he really cared which I have not felt in the 2 years I've been injured. Only reason I did not give it 5 stars was the hard time I had finding it.

What is foot pain?
As the main points of contact between you and the ground, feet are a critically important part of the body but are also prone to damage or infection. Foot pain can be the result of injury or illness affecting any part of the foot or surrounding areas. This includes the various parts of the foot such as the toes, heel, arch, or Achilles tendon. Chronic or severe foot pain can seriously impact the quality of life by limiting mobility, making effective treatment important for daily function.
What are the symptoms of foot pain?
The specific symptoms of foot pain can vary based on the affected area and underlying causes. However, some of the more common symptoms that accompany foot pain include the following:
- Swelling or redness
- Cramps
- Rashes or bumps
- Tingling sensations
- Numbness
- Burning or itching
- Weakness or instability
- Blisters
- Sharp stabbing pain
While the symptoms of foot pain often abate on their own, chronic or severe foot pain should be addressed by a medical professional to prevent the condition from worsening.

How is foot pain treated?
Treatment for foot pain will vary based on the type and severity of the pain. Many instances of foot pain can be treated at home with over-the-counter remedies. If your foot pain is relatively mild, you may self-care by temporarily avoiding any activities that exacerbate the pain. Combined with icing the affected area and taking pain relievers such as ibuprofen, the pain may abate after a few hours to days.
Seek immediate medical attention if your foot pain is severe, you have an open wound, there are signs of infection, you’re unable to put weight on the foot, or you have diabetes. In these cases, more intensive treatment may be required. This may include steroid injections, surgery, physical therapy, prescription strength pain relievers, or physical aids such as a boot, cast, or crutches.
